Jenifer Parker has enjoyed the care and companionship of a variety of animals throughout her life, from dogs and cats to horses and wild sparrows. Born and raised in San Diego, she lives in the Pasadena/Altadena area, with her husband of 20+ years, two dogs, four cats, four bunnies, two parakeets, a cockatiel, a mouse, and a pet goose -- at last count. An advocate for animal rescue and rehabilitation, she proudly donates a portion of her income to animal rescue organizations in the Los Angeles area. She is especially attuned to the more specialized needs of multi- and exotic-pet families such as her own. Able to administer medications, injections and subcutaneous fluids, she can handle most special-needs pets -- and even diaper a goose.
